Sedbergh’s Class of 2024 Celebrates Outstanding GCSE Success

Today, Sedbergh’s GCSE students are again celebrating an excellent set of results – with 32 % of grades marked 9 – 7 (A* -A) and 92% of grades marked 9 – 4 (A* – C).

When annoucning the highly anticipated results, Ms Stubbs, Deputy Head Academic said, “I am delighted with the performance of our pupils this year and would like to offer my congratulations to all involved. The results demonstrate continued improvement across all levels, with a third of grades at level 7 or above. Overall grades at level 4 and above are 92%, an increase on the excellent results achieved last year. The strong performance is reflective of the commitment, hard work and dedication that has been shown by both pupils and staff. I look forward to welcoming pupils and staff back for the new academic year, where we can continue to build on their success, supporting the next chapter in their academic pathway”.
