We are
courageous.

Courage
We cultivate a courageous mindset, instilling our pupils with a ‘can-do’ spirit. We encourage pupils to venture into uncharted territories, take risks, and explore beyond their comfort zones.
Courage, to us, extends beyond confronting challenges; it involves approaching them with real determination. We emphasise to our children that setbacks are part of the learning journey, not the end. Through these experiences, our pupils develop resilience, recognising that failure doesn’t have to be a bad thing; it can be just as useful to learning as success.
Embracing adventure, unafraid of failure
Courage is the invisible yet palpable force that propels pupils beyond the boundaries of familiarity into the realms of growth and discovery. At the start of each child’s education journey, instiling the value of courage equips pupils with the bravery to face new challenges in their learning.
We want our pupils to have the courage to ask questions, to make mistakes, and to try again; our classrooms are dynamic environments where curiosity thrives and creativity is encouraged. By making courage one of our key values, we aim to support pupils in navigating both their academic and personal development with confidence and integrity.
This foundation not only prepares them for the academic journey ahead but also for life’s inevitable and varied challenges, making courage an indispensable value for now and the future.
“Courage is like being a superhero. It means doing the right thing even when it’s scary, like standing up for a friend or trying again when something is really hard.”
