Academic Results

Beyond the classroom, the academic opportunities we create give Sedbergh girls and boys a solid footing when it comes to competing for places at top universities, GAP year work placements or their first step on the career ladder. We ensure all pupils receive the guidance and support needed to further their academic development and career prospects.

We are delighted with the results that the pupils have secured this year, and the subsequent offers that they have received. The breadth and depth of courses and destinations that the pupils are now moving on to study is testament to their hard work and dedication combined with the commitment and support demonstrated by the staff team. 2024 University Destinations

The majority of Sedberghians apply for university, however we acknowledge that for some it is not their preference. Pupils are encouraged to stretch themselves academically and by achieving their best whilst at Sedbergh they leave the door open to returning to Further Education at a later stage.
