As far as possible pupils are integrated into mainstream classrooms, where all teachers have a responsibility to support the needs of pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL). The SEND Department also maintains a pastoral emphasis, working closely with other staff to ensure the wellbeing of international pupils and encouraging them to participate fully in the wide range of extra-curricular activities and events on offer.
