Special Educational
Needs and Disabilities

Learning support in the Prep School is offered through the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Department, which works across our school to ensure that all pupils receive the support that they need for effective learning and maximum development.

Provision is tailored to meet the needs of the individual. The department works across all ages to help with both continuity of provision and the development of a close working relationship between staff, pupils and their parents. The department is staffed by trained specialist teachers, suitably qualified and experienced to meet the needs of the pupils requiring additional support.

Where individual needs are identified, extra support and intervention can be provided either in class, in small group or individual lessons. Should any child applying to the school already have an identified Special Educational Need or Disability, relevant reports should be submitted for consideration as part of the admissions process.
