The Pre-Prep area of School warmly welcomes children aged 4, when they join our Reception class, and through to the end of Year 2, when they have turned 7. Our dedicated staff provide a nurturing and dynamic environment where young learners thrive, where everyone is valued and where effort is celebrated alongside achievement.

Our smaller class sizes allow us to focus on individually tailoring each child’s learning journey throughout the Pre-Prep, providing opportunities that develop not only knowledge but the aptitude to question, problem solve, communicate and to understand that failure is part of the path to success.

Arrange a Visit

Throughout the Pre-Prep, children benefit from being taught by subject specialists in art, music, physical education and French. They also visit the library, design, technology and engineering workshop, computer suites and science laboratories on a regular basis.

A key highlight for the Pre-Prep area is the use of our innovative outdoor learning space, The Den—an outdoor classroom designed to inspire curiosity and creativity. Here, children engage with nature, developing important life skills while enjoying the freedom to explore and learn in the fresh air.

For busy families, we offer wrap-around care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment from breakfast until supper. This service is ideal for parents juggling demanding schedules and gives children extended time to learn, play and connect with friends. As part of this and in addition to classroom learning, we offer a range of exciting daily clubs, available every weekday. Children can participate in Wild Club, where they immerse themselves in outdoor adventures, or explore their creativity with Music, Art, and Construction clubs. These activities foster personal growth, allowing each child to discover and develop their unique talents.
