Sixth Form Centre

The Sixth Form Centre plays a crucial role in the educational journey of pupils during their final two years at Sedbergh.

In response to the growing demand for Sixth Form places at Sedbergh, the School refurbished Queen’s Hall to create a dedicated Sixth Form Centre for pupils.

On the ground floor, students can enjoy their own café, offering a variety of snacks and refreshments prepared by Sedbergh’s catering team. This relaxed, informal space is perfect for unwinding and socialising with friends.

Upstairs, the centre features private study booths, two classrooms, and open-plan workstations. The McMillan Room, a purpose-built collaboration space, allows students to practice presentations and work in small groups.

Additionally, the Head of Sixth Form and the Head of Careers have their offices in the building, providing easy access to support and guidance.

Pupil Pathways

Our vision is to provide a journey through Sedbergh School that equips pupils to make confident, informed choices about their future pathways; from university to apprenticeships to employment or other options.
